We celebrate Syttende Mai – May 17th – Norwegian Constitution Day, Leif Erikson’s birthday on October 9th and, of course, Juletime in December with our Juletrefest Christmas Scandinavian Potluck.
In 2023 we also celebrated a birthday, Sons of Norway member Lil Haldorsen’s 106th birthday. Lil was born in Norway, came to Duluth as a child and is active still, rarely missing a meeting. If you want to know more about this remarkable woman, watch her interview on Northern News:
